Is the invoice generator really free?

All invoice data is processed entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Nothing is sent to any server, so your client names, prices, and business details remain completely private.

Can I add my company logo?

Yes. Click the logo upload area in the Your Business section, select a PNG or JPG file, and your logo will appear in the invoice header inside the live preview and the downloaded PDF.

How do I add multiple line items?

Click the Add Item button to insert additional rows. Each row has a description, quantity, and unit price field. The line total and invoice subtotal update automatically as you type.

Does the invoice support tax and discounts?

Yes. Enter a tax rate as a percentage and a flat discount amount. The invoice summary shows the subtotal, discount, tax, and final total in the order most clients and accountants expect.

Which currencies are supported?

You can choose from USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, and CHF using the currency selector. The chosen symbol is displayed on all monetary values in both the preview and the PDF.

Can I add payment terms or bank details?

Yes. Use the Notes field at the bottom of the form to add any free-text information — payment terms, bank account details, thank-you messages, or any other instructions for your client.

What does the live preview show?

The preview panel on the right updates in real time as you fill in the form. It shows exactly how the final PDF will look, including your logo, all line items, calculated totals, and notes.

Can I reuse the invoice as a template?

The tool doesn't save data between sessions, but you can keep the browser tab open and simply update the client name and line items for each new invoice before downloading.
