How does the word unscrambler work?

Are all results valid Scrabble words?

Can I use wildcard or blank tiles?

Not currently. Enter only the actual letters you have. Wildcard support (where a blank tile can represent any letter) is planned for a future update.

What is the maximum number of letters I can enter?

You can enter up to 15 letters. Results are shown grouped by word length from shortest to longest, with a count of how many words were found.

Is my input sent to a server?

No. The entire lookup happens in your browser. The dictionary is bundled with the page and loaded locally — no data is transmitted to any server.

Why are some words I expect not appearing in the results?

The dictionary prioritizes common English words. Obscure, archaic, or highly specialized words may not be included. If a common word is missing, it may be added in a future dictionary update.
